Thankful thinking

During times of sadness and depression it has been proven as one of the strongest methods of changing your  thoughts   quickly is shifting your  feelings    in the direction of what DO I have? What IS good in my life right now? What CAN I be thankful about?
This is a fantastic  coping technique  that I use daily. In fact I have created enough control   to start my day with this exercise. I love this exercise  because you do not need any paper, pens, or computers; all you need is some quiet . I do this exercise every morning  on my way to  the gym  . I get in my car and as I’m driving I take 5 deep breathes and hold for a moment before I exhale then I start really thinking  about what I have to be thankful about. Over time this willshift  your gears into thinking and focusing on good things rather than negative things. I have learned to go deeper and really visualize my feelings instead of just creating a mental list. I picture my 2 year old daughter laughing and smiling and I really focus on the feeling of that, then I move on to my wife and I visualize her smile,(no matter what kind of state she currently is in with her bipolar disorder, I focus on her smile in my head)this helps me consciously stay connected and in a state of love with my wife. Then I will move on to my parents, brothers, grandparents, my home, my vehicle, my dog etc… 15 minutes later as I’m arriving for work I feel very thankful and grateful for so many things in my life. My Bipolar wife disorder is not fair. It’s not fair to her, my daughter, or me, but life is not fair. It’s much more beautiful focusing on the positive and creating more positive than negative. I know not everyone reading this will try this technique . If you are one of the men willing to try it, you will not regret how quickly your mind shifts into a whole new state of gratitude that creates more positive outcomes. No matter what struggles we are facing we must keep pushing forward, growth never occurs when we are relaxed. I wish which everyone is prepared to try, ‘Thankful Considering’. It could help the life in far more methods than imaginable.
You know I have employed doing so thankful considering method not only to relieve myself of sadness or despair but also to manifest details into my lifestyle.A great instance is about 6 weeks ago, I was targeting a job which I could not endure. Each early morning I would consequence angry and miserable, until I finally decided to try doing so greatful thinking exercise and prefer I said over every single time I drove to work I was shifting my gears into pondering about the items which I did prefer. Issues that were wonderful in my life, and slowly my mind was shifting and things were starting to be less difficult in actual fact they were as if I was flowing through life with ease. The daily things which I couldn't stand executing had been no lengthier bothering me. This overwhelming feeling of gratitude and happiness was with me for 2 months day in and day out. Then the incredible happened my boss called me into his office, and offered me a position that I was completely under qualified for. He told me totake a leap of faith, so I did, and now I am loving my job, making more money than I ever thought achievable. I captivated the job into my life, by focusing on issues that I wished not things which I didn't want. I still use the greatful considering strategy religiously every single early morning on my way to do the job. I wish that everybody who reads doing so write-up should try and use 'thankful pondering' for themselves. This will help your relationship with your bipolar wife in more ways than imagineable.
